The Woman Behind Bohe: A Story of Purpose, Not Just Fashion

The Woman Behind Bohe: A Story of Purpose, Not Just Fashion

BOHE is not just a label.

It is a response.

Born from the vision of Neetu Arora Midha, Bohe began with a question the fashion industry often overlooked — who are we really designing for?

Having worked on the corporate side of fashion with globally recognized brands, Neetu witnessed firsthand how rigid size charts reduced individuality into standardized labels. Beauty was confined to S, M, L, and XL. But between these categories and the reality of real bodies, there existed a quiet, unspoken gap — a space where many simply did not belong.

Bohe was created to bridge that space.

It stands against the idea of “size syndrome,” where clothing dictates the body instead of the body defining the clothing. At Bohe, there is no judgment, no limitation — only fluidity and freedom. The intention was clear: to create clothing that adapts, includes, and embraces.

This vision, however, was not just professional — it was deeply personal.

Coming from a fashion-forward background where dressing well was second nature, Neetu always had access to expressive clothing — until she didn’t. During motherhood, she experienced a disconnect. The market lacked garments that felt both comfortable and beautiful. Choices became limited. Expression felt compromised.

And that absence became the beginning.

Bohe was built to ensure that no one feels excluded from fashion — whether petite, evolving, or beyond conventional sizes. It is sizeless. It is personal. It is designed to move with you.

It is also ageless — created to transcend generations, not define them.

Over time, this philosophy extended beyond the body to the world around us. Bohe embraced natural fabrics, mindful processes, intricate handwork, and minimal waste — not as a passing trend, but as a responsibility. Sustainability here is not a statement; it is a way of being. A conscious effort to give back — to nature, to artisans, and to community.

Every garment carries this belief: less excess, more meaning.

Bohe is not mass-produced.

It is thoughtfully created.

The journey began with its first showcase at Lakmé Fashion Week — a defining moment where the idea took form and the voice found its audience.

Since then, Bohe has continued to evolve — not by following fashion, but by quietly redefining it.
